12 calls in the last 24 hours from this number. Answered first call and was told they were to do with PPI, I immediately asked to be removed from calling list caller then became rude and abusive. No further calls answered, this seems to not deter them at all, and is bordering on criminal harassment.

It says this is Clearanswer, a marketing company and one of BTs partners.....comments from the general public seem to suggest otherwise. A very foreign voice suggested my BT contract was coming to an end. I don’t discuss new contracts with a cold caller. When I said it wasn’t due to be renegotiated she hung up...not the sort of thing a genuine person would do.

I was called by a stroppy Welsh woman who wouldn t shut up when I asked her where she got my number from. She came out with some rubbish about me being on a government data base that said I had a credit card - what bloody business it of hers? These people truly are the scum of the earth. cwhat is th e point of me registering with TPS if I keep getting calls from brain dead morons reading from a script. Oh well the last two words she heard from me began with F and O. She was so aggressive!!

I was called in response to an advert I had on gumtree, he was telling me he was looking to recruit in my area but now having seen the company website I realise it was a scam to get me to advertise with them. not impressed with deception.

SCAM Coputer voice said they were BT and there was suspicious activity on our phone line and they were going to disconnect it. Press 1 for ? or Press 2 to speak to someone about it. As we have not been a BT customer for nearly a year and do not use there phone line. We are with Virgin that does not use BT lines. It was a scam ! I did not press any number as it would probably cost us money. This company have 100's of numbers under the same prefix and change every last numbers every few day.
SCAM Fraud BEWARE ! This number has only recently appeared on this site (August 2023) from other people checking. Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. Hung up on me and didn't call me back when I told him I keep very little in the account, whilst I was silently checking the account in the background. The comments are interesting I have had daily phone calls from this number , I have now blocked it , I also donate to unicef. But what I wanted and what I can afford . Calling on personal cell number about 'IT services' and domains I have registered - through my business. Challenged them on ignoring TPS, and fact that they have obtained data illegally since all domain registration detail is now 'redacted' - caller hung up. Sounded like a VOIP line, big call centre by the level of noise in the background and most likely Indian sub-continent from accent of caller.
Fraud automated message to press 1, as HMRC were claiming immediate contact or arrest. Be very careful.
