Harrasing and threatening phone calls

Scam Clearly. They state they are Eon. Then waste no time asking for personal information. I told the woman who spoke in broken English that she was a scammer and ended the call. She never called back. She will continue to look for gullible people. Sadly there are many of those. Her next victim may be a pensioner & easy prey

Cold calling scammer pretending to obtained my number from one of the major mobile companies of which he couldn’t provide. Call was dressed up as a promotional call attempting to get my details.

The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based. SCAM Automated message "This is from bank security". Didn't say which one! I receive lots of calls from different numbers with the same message.

They give false information regarding their company. They told me they were from interpol and threatened to freeze my accounts

FraudFemale recorded voice with American accent (very amateurish) saying they were HMRC and that I had been reported for tax evasion. The case has been reported to the police and would be brought before a magistrate. "Press 1 to speak to a HMRC agent", Obviously I didn't. This country has some of the most advanced telecomms technology in the world. WHY can't the authoriries (Police, BT, the Regulator) take down these numbers?

Telephone call from 07979 752324 at 10:23 on Thursday 23 March. Female caller requested one minute to ask personal questions. Replied "no", however female caller carried on speaking. Did not answer any questions. Believe caller fishing for personal information in order to start some type of fraud. Female caller then terminated call, so number then blocked immediately.

Fraud Offers a discount for being a 'loyal' customer... They send you a link from three website to reset your memorable info then say it will take 24 hours to complete but if you give them your password now they can verify it now. Never give anyone your password BEWARE!!!!!!!

Called saying that they were from bank and that Amazon had taken money from my bank account for items sent abroad.

Scam call. Purporting to be BT calling with regard to my internet connection. As I am NOT with BT and have not experienced any problems, I regard this call as a scam and hung up. Thay have not called back.

Fraud this number is being used to steel the identify of cjhh solicitors and attempting to extort money from clients who are in the process of property transactions and intercept the money to be sent to the fraudsters bank account

SCAM this number is made to look like a local (to me) number which is why I answered. Automated voice saying that two unauthorised transactions had been made on my card and that I should press 1 to talk to an agent. Please don't fall for this scam.

This is a scam number. informed me that i £600 had been illegally taken from my bank. they disconnected me when i asked them to verify the name of the bank. I have reported it to fraud line.

I don’t answer if don’t know no. &/ or area their calling from having no connection to me How are they so prolific when ex directory and TPS registered?! Received a call from this number this morning, i let it go to answering machine ( landline) and no message was left, then called beeped & ended. Very suspicious call I felt.
