Second time they tried...scammers and don t know how they got my number...very angry.. BEWARE

This number called this morning didn t reach the phone in time so rang back later. Guy told me that we were owed PPI I told him that we were not. He said that my information wasn t in front of him at the moment so I would get another call but just tell them not to call again.

At 1050 30 October 2013 I received a call from a male calling himself "Keith" saying he was from Santander Bank and he wanted to talk to me about my account. He said he wanted to run through some security checks with me at which I said that I was not prepared to give any personal information on a "cold call" because, I told him, I was very suspicious. I received a 'phone call from 02034326587. A gentleman with an Indian accent, who knew my first name, tried to sell me something about cryptocurrencies, whether it was a course or an investment opportunity I don't know as I replied that it wasn't anything I was interested in. Despite that, he was quite persistant, until I asked him where he had got my name and number, at which point the line went dead.

Santander ring off this number when it is suspected that a transaction on your account is fraudulent!

Number calls repeatedly. When calling back to complain you get a recorded message saying you can opt out by pressing 9 on your keypad but they still try and ring you!
