Just after receiving 01225 809616 (no response, no speech), which I picked up because it was a local number to us. This number called - listed as International 0037283087478. I let the call go to answer machine where it shut off after 3 secs. So, was the 1st number a spoof call to capture numbers of people who picked up? Which the 2nd number then used?

Left a voice mail for me. When I phoned back they refused to tell me what type of company it was, and would only tell me it was about a "private business matter". Look...
The caller from this number left messages on my mobile in which they said they were calling from my bank and unless i called back they would have to cancel a recent transaction. They are obviously not from my bank ! Not sure what they wanted but I will not be calling back in case it costs me !
