Legit. Checks out with what is listed on the HSBC UK website. Though the call quality was very bad. Also, you know it's a genuine bureaucratic banking process when they ask for 10 different details to confirm your identity. I swear the support lady could just identify theft the hell out of me at this point.

Man calling about a medical pendant. May have been harmless but he was very evasive when I asked where he got my phone number (we're not on any lists and don't get cold-called much). He seemed to be reading from a script and looking up the answers, as there were long gaps between my asking a question and his reply. I told him I was going to hang up and did so.

Seems like an Indian call centre, have had a few missed calls from several number over the passed few days which I have blocked. They left a 20 second voicemail by mistake with them talking in Indian and laughing before realising that she was on voicemail and hung up. No company name offered, wouldn’t trust regardless.
