Usual nonsense about disconnecting me because of suspicious activity. Number came up on my caller display as international, so presumably a spoofed number
SCAM / SPAM - Used maiden name, commented on the colour of my hair, which features in my email address. The call was regarding my registration with the financial markets. So many alarm bells ringing here!! Take care, these are scammers without a doubt!

I've had two calls from this number, saying its inland revenue and not to hang up or they will take further action, I stayed on line for ages then automated service said go...
Call all time, when questioned the usally hang up, usual nonsense re debt consolidation, can t call back told them I m on TPS no effect, just hang up.
Has called 15 times in the past few days offering me a free tablet, when I said no they still keep calling. spoke to someone in Vodafone and they weren t sure if it was legitimate or not.

The company is called Consumer Care Direct based in Manchester and claim to save money for you, as long as you give them some. FraudFemale recorded voice with American accent (very amateurish) saying they were HMRC and that I had been reported for tax evasion. The case has been reported to the police and would be brought before a magistrate. "Press 1 to speak to a HMRC agent", Obviously I didn't. This country has some of the most advanced telecomms technology in the world. WHY can't the authoriries (Police, BT, the Regulator) take down these numbers?

SCAM - pretending to be from Lloyds Bank... asking to call on 01332 556003 if a standing order for £537 to NVG Life Insurance had not been set up by the recipient. Recipient has no account with LLoyds, so definitely a scam.

This number called me 5 times per day including weekends. They are scam loan brokers they ask to pay fee in advance before getting a loan.
