Up to 5 calls per day over the last week, no response when call answered, no message left on answer machine if call not answered. I find this very disturbing as I am a pensioner living alone.

This is a suspected nuisance call. On picking up there was a recorded message asking for verification details. I immediately put the phone down. I have had a couple of calls from another Bridgend number in the last few weeks. 01656 723940 seems to belongs to a Mr Steven Walters of Dennis Place, Bryncethin, Bridgend. If so he needs to know it is illegal to call anyone who is TPS registered.

Call received at 9.30 today, didn't recognise so ignored. No message left. Probably telemarketing or some other annoying scam.
The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based. Loft insulation cold call, claimed that they were local - Cardiff is over 100 miles away. Left what appears to be a recorded message.
A woman with a very foreign accent that I could barely understand, it sounded like she said she was calling from o2 but like I say could hardly understand her. I said I am not with o2 and will be reporting this call to the relevant authorities as it is an unsolicited call, she just said ok and bye.

Had a card through the door saying they are from Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire County Court Bailiff Team - called the 01582 506 714 number and it just rings out. At the bottom of the card it says Albany Print and Design, HMP Isle of Wight....pretty certain this is fake!!!
