Called me and implied that they were operating on behalf of my estate agent and this was the 'next step' in the purchase of my new property. Tried to get my address details claiming that it was all part of 'data protection' - when I said 'heck no - I'm not giving you any details' then they doubled down on the the claim that they were operating on behalf of my estate. Very upsetting.

No name given. He said he was working for Amazon and needed to track down who had ordered 2 mobile phones from Amazon using my bank details (which he had) but had arranged to be delivered to an address that was not mine. To do this he wanted me to go into my bank app and arrange a transfer of £5000 to an account for which he provided and which my bank cleared as existing. I went along with it up to the point of transfer and he then became pressing and agitated.

Another scam call from "The Advisors", trying to sell premium savings on life insurance. 'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! It's the second call I've got from 'Paul' at The Advisors this week, I blocked his previous number, which was 07723553123. You can spot a pattern in these numbers, they're 0772355xxxx. Scammer tried to reach out on whatsapp offering a job that pays in crypto. It is a scam but you should definitely have fun and give them ridiculous answers.

Man with Asian accent said he was calling from Virgin Media about my internet connection. He said they were having some problems which are affecting my internet connection but the call then disconnected. I've been with Virgin for many years and they've never once phoned me when there's been problems in the past. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my internet connection and I'm convinced that this was a scam call so I'm rating as dangerous.

an asian who spoke so fast that to start with it was impossible to understand and when asked to repeat it but slowly she said she was phoning to alert me that i had to pay another charge on my order. she said if i could give her my bank details amazon will debit it from my account. i have not brought any thing from amazon and i dont have an account with amazon never have and never will . beware of this number because these people are thieves and are not from amazon.

Lady claimed that unknown to myself I have a bitcoin account open in my name with 4.5 bitcoin in it. All I needed to do was prove my identity and she would kindly sort out how I could activate the account and claim my money. It had apparently been opened accidentally when I had clicked on an advertising link. Isn't that just too good to be true?
