Just received a text from this number that began 'Morning Mum...' (I'm not a Mum!) and the text said that they are calling from a friends phone and their battery is about to expire so please call them back. There is no name of either the sender or the friend or the reason why they are calling so I suspect it's a scam. Please be cautious if you receive this message

Appears to be a phishing scam. I got an ebay order confirmation for an item I did not order. This number was given for reporting fraudulent purchses. t sounds like an Indian caallcentre, and they attemted to get me to download Anydesk, in order to access my computer!!

This is a male pretending to be from the FCA. He tells you that you have been using crypto currency and bitcoin and says the FCA are holding onto this as it’s illegal. He got very rude when i told him the facts

They claim to be "Road Traffic Management" and that they can get you additional compensation for a RTA you've had. They also claim to have got your details from the MIB (Motor Insurance Database), but when pushed they claim that all they were given was your phone number and the fact that your vehicle had been in an accident in the last five years that wasn't your fault. Fraud 07484888053 automated call telling me there had been unusual spending on my card - £300 to Amazon. Cut the call off straight away - this is a scammer - checked my bank but moved money to safe account of my own. Beware.
