Wanted to talk about my life insurance policy but said it was an "AIG policy" which it isn't. When questioned on this he repeated the same thing once and then stealthily changed it to say he was working with my provider and AIG. Double checked and the two companies don't appear related. He then started on the spiel where he called it a personal policy which it isn't. Let him continue to waste his time and then told him the truth when he asked at which point he hung up on me. Total scam BS.

I've worked in customer service multiple times, one thing I've been told which is common sense is not to spam our customers with calls, maximum I'd call is 2 times for a single customer then stop. Spammed me with calls over a few days that I kept missing. When I picked up, they claimed to be from Steadman-Chase in London. I didn't really believe them and they tried to convince me to invest, along with trying to throw terms at me to sound smart. When they finally accepted that I wasn't interested, they abruptly hung up. Block this number!

Call from 02034589975 the call is originating in an Indian call centre and the caller asks for name, DOB and address before telling me they've located my Vodafone account (which doesn't exist and my details were entirely fictional). The call is a scam designed to illicit bank details for a new phone contract. I would urge everyone to block this number and not give them any info at all.
