Calling on personal cell number about 'IT services' and domains I have registered - through my business. Challenged them on ignoring TPS, and fact that they have obtained data illegally since all domain registration detail is now 'redacted' - caller hung up. Sounded like a VOIP line, big call centre by the level of noise in the background and most likely Indian sub-continent from accent of caller.

call from this number Monday 6th March at 13.50 when an automated voice said I was about to spend £700 + on an Amazon order and that they had halted the transaction pending my pressing button 1. I smelt a rat and hung up then Googled the number to find this site. I'm confident it was a hoax.

SCAM Fraud BEWARE ! This number has only recently appeared on this site (August 2023) from other people checking. Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. Its a trustworthy number as its AO.COM. I bought an appliance recently and they were confirming everything. Unfortunately, the guy was persistent on setting up a domestic and general insurance for £7 a month. Annoying as the appliance comes with 2 years warranty. If I wanted D&G warranty i d go to D&G and get it. Please do not cold call customers pushing for the sale of this its unwanted.
Original call number came in as V21309255500012, when picked up and answered, no response, just silence. After hanging up, hit CID button (caller ID) and the new number was revealed as 1-778-555-0161, a number from British Vancouver.

Had a call from this number asking for me but I was not available to take the call. Another site said they were scammers and to give no info over the phone.
This person was a scouser, who almost insisted who the solicitor was whom I was using, I would not tell him, so he call be a Bell end and rung off.

Believe that this is Sky - we cancelled our subscription 3 months ago and they ve pestered me from this number relentlessly ever since, trying to tempt us back. No chance. Cancelling Sky was the best thing I ever did! £90 extra a month in my pocket and no Sky Sports on constantly (sorry, Husband). WOO!

Just received a call from this number which said I had a text message but the message was garbled. Phoned our friend who was in a London hospital thinking it was him and he had sent by accident a text message to our landline which resulted in this call. It must be the message service operated by BT but doesn t appear to work very well.
