I don't know think its safe I got a virus in my phone for a while and aI thought my Fb might be hacked ! I just went into my settings no where my WhatsApp was ,my own number was there . But where my FB was this number was there .and I have put soft ware in . I thought I deleted FB and re installed and no we I installed the installed the latest soft ware Amazon is not recognizing me .I have to re log in everywhere . It's a right pain. This number called my business phone. I picked up and there was no response. I said hello? The reply was "mmm I'm gonna cum" and he put the phone down. My husband called back, he picked up the phone but as soon as he heard my husbands voice he put the phone down.
Fraud The claimed to be from my home appliance cover. They tried to get my bank details (even though we are on direct debit so the real provider would already have it). When challenged they called back several times getting more condescending each time. We then phoned our actual cover provider and they confirmed it was a scam call. DANGEROUS.
An automated female voice, purporting to be from Amazon, said I had ordered an iPhone and should press 2 if I wanted to talk to someone.
Scam. They ask for personal information and try to steal your card details, acting in a professional manner over the phone call. Never reveal any personal info. Rather ask them to verify what they know about you and perhaps you may have a chance to find out where they got your phone number or data from.

I was out but hey left an automated message saying suspicious activity on my bank account, listing some of them. Then 'Press 1' to cancel these payments etc etc. Typical scam and definitely might catch some people out. I deleted the message.

Pre-recorded female voice (American accent) purporting to be HMRC but number coming up on iPhone as Newquay area. Couldn't clearly hear what was said but usual message engineered to put people under pressure while offering a "Press number 1" type option to be put through to scammers most likely. Just waited and it cut-off.

Not a scam, it's fine! Was told it was HSBC and was asked to verify my identity by the agent on the other end. I let them know I would call back directly to avoid a scam and she said okay, she would put a note on my file about it, and ended the call. I called HSBC directly through their official phone line and asked about it and they DID find a note on my file - it was totally legitimate! If in doubt go ahead and call back anyway, it's good practice, but don't ignore this number because it is actually real

This number called me claiming someone had used a visa card in my name for a £900.00 purchase. They then asked for bank details, passwords etc, I don't have a visa card, this is most definitely an attempt to access my bank account in a criminal way for criminal purposes.
