automated call claiming to be from visa/debit department, telling me someone had tried to spend £900 on my card. no evidence of this on my account, I suggest this is a scam call

It is a scam, just called me to request cancellation of international money transaction of £700 and £900 to press 1. I don't have that much amount in my regular card :)

Pretended to be virgin media and boost my booster!!! Was asking me to download application "screen sharing" which alerted me and I became very suspicious so I put the phone down

This caller was female told me she was from Microsoft. I kept repeating go awey go away, you are a scam. Still tried to talk me into listening, put the phone down. It was annoying to say the least, I think it was a scam.

Possibly a faked number, recorded message claiming to be Amazon Prime.

i had a text message from this number which takes you to what looks like a fake royalmail website. None of the embedded links work on the website. The message at the top of the page seems to suggest these is an unpaid fee on a parcel. - SCAM

This is a spam please careful. The number has a call waiting for customer care with American accent, very weird. Don't answer, don't call back.

01416735153 called me. as i didn't know the number i declined the call. later at home i returned the call to find an automated american voice claiming to be market research. my smart cell phone informed me that it was a scam too.

This number came in a text message to me supposedly from my daughter asking me to whatsapp the number so that I could contact her as her own phone was not working and it was an emergency.

Claimed to be from Car phone Warehouse, offering a new Samsung phone for £35 a month. SCAM.

2022.07.18 at 13:37 my phone showed ‘International’, with the number 0049 1375 381293, which looks like it came from Germany (0049), but with a local code that was the same as my own ((0)1375)... anyway a recorded message claimed it was from 'bank security', that two large withdrawals had been made on my account, inc one from Amazon, and that I needed to press a particular number to speak to them. This is obviously a SCAM and an ATTEMPTED FRAUD..

I asked him how he offers me upgrade without knowing my current plan or even name. He couldn't answer what happened at school and why he couldn't find a better job rather than scamming people. Pretending to be from Amazon and saying that I had a £900 transaction taken from my Amazon account and wanted me to follow their instructions and put a code in my phone I told him to call me back in 10 minutes as my daughter would be speak to him and she works with the police he hung up. I did know it was a scam that’s why I said it. I just feel sorry for the people that they do trap as they are scum. If you don’t No them hang up. And don’t give them any of your details.
