I was contacted by this number who said they were Carphone Warehouse and I was due an upgrade on my phone. I felt the telemarketer was very friendly but was very pushy. Repeating my details over and over. He then had to phone back to say that my address wasn t on their system and that I needed to phone Orange and update even though I have lived at my address for 34 years and had 3 Orange contracts. Needless to say I told them not to bother.

Number is one of Scot Call s many. They are part of Mackenzie Hall group. and collect old debts, that can be 10 - 20 years old. By law most debts over 6 years are void. The calls are usually automated or ask for personal info. Hope this helps.

Same here, they rang me. I asked who they were, young man was adamant I give my details,as If!!!! Surely I would of had something in the post or an email of some kind instead of these young kids who call up. Im starting to wonder now. Perhaps "Anne Rob" might like to seek this one out....Find this rather odd as my credit file is fine. First thing in the morning too. Dont they think people have children or work to attend to. Within 2 hours of registering new business phone number, I'm getting called by this number. They are 100% sourcing phone numbers from business directories such as 118, etc.
