28/06/18 An India man called from 01420 300017, claiming to be from Telephone Preference Management. He said he was updating records, to stop me getting nuisance calls for life ( alarm bells already ringing). He asked me to confirm that I paid my phone contract by direct debit, and then asked me to confirm my card expiry date...at which point, I hung up.

Called and asked for me by name on a mobile number I keep as a back up and isnt used. Said they were calling from aviva and knew I had life insurance. I asked how they got the number and the hung up.

They call me 3 times a day - I complained to TPS who immediately contacted them. They have continued calling. After 30 days if they are still calling, TPS will take action. I don't answer, it goes straight on to message taker but it's still a nuisance. I've phoned them twice today and been assured they will remove my number but it's continuing. One woman I spoke to said she knew it was illegal.
