Don t answer these calls, always contacting you even when you tell them you are not interested in insurance. Called me 5 times in one day.

I work in the reception of a ad bureau and person that sounded really queer called and what to speak to my managing director, i told that no calls was passing me without any further description, and he closed the line...

Ive had this number call me four times this morning. I too am UOB ex staff. Typical UOB.

They call from this number twice a day under the guise of different company names - Direct Utilities, Business Utilities, Select Utilities, Regional Utilities. They are clearly dumb, because when requested to remove our details from their records and stop calling, they say OK and then don t do it, despite being told the we only have a mailing box address and therefore have no need for utilities. Go back to school, children!

Don t bother next time. Reports on other sites suggest it s a lottery ticket scam.

An Asian gent called regarding cover on my washing machine when I advised him it had a 5 year guarantee then he said fridge freezer, a possible scammer.

Back again, they phoned my mobile yesterday and today my landline. Local garage had my contact numbers 2 years ago when I bought a car. In the past has just been postal advertising. The number is in Runcorn so misrepresentation of fact! Answered the phone with what are you selling, told them not to phone again as I don t want to buy a car. Must be a call centre in Runcorn, annoyed that local garage has sold or is using contact details for reasons beyond the original sale!!!

He wanted to talk to the person who deals with electricity bills, so I asked him whether he meant the business or home account. I don t think he understood me, got mildly aggressive, so I repeated myself until he said the business account. Then I said "well our business is a boat, it doesn t use gas or electricity, so unless you can supply me red diesel at a competitive rate there is nothing you can do for me." Hopefully I won t hear from him again.

Call showed as INTERNATIONAL despite the London code. Hung up on answer.

Rang today, when I asked why they had called me and how they received my mobile number he just continued with PPI refund speech. Again I explained that I don t have loans or a mortgage so he then began to question me as to if I knew what PPI was as I must have signed up for it. Rude and don t take no for an answer so next time they call I am going to blow a whistle down the ear piece of my phone.

Pension review - The welsh accented caller advised that I hadn t had a pension review recently . She knew my name. I advised her that I hadn t opted in for these sort of calls, and besides she was obviously lying about the state of my pension. She told me I HAD opted in as she knew this ! I asked her where she obtained my details and she told me from a company called Digital Marketing . I then asked her the name of HER company so I could issue a formal complaint, at which point she hung up.
