An automated call stating it is from TAXES / HMRC, directing me to speak to an officer re unpaid taxes??? not sure if this is a scam, but i do not have any unpaid taxes so more than likely to be a scam.
Called several time, no messages left. Very annoying.
Claims to be BT reporting problems with Internet connection and threatens to disconnect line unless action is taken. Prompts 'Press 1 to talk to an advisor about this' - clearly a scam.

Someone phoned me this morning on telephone number 0364960079 saying they were from Amazon Prime, and they were going to take £17.99 from my bank account. I have checked my bank account, but as yet there has not been anything taken out. I will keep checking as that is not one of Amazon's numbers. Maureen.

SCAM - very unpleasant call. Recorded message on voicemail (electronic voice) said if I didnt answer I would be arrested immediately. So far no arrest, so looks like I havent woken up in a dystopian nightmare where the police issues threatening electronic messages for 'criminals' afterall. Could be very frightening for some.
