Fraud called telling me that somebody in the USA has just spent £600 on my debit card and to stop payment they needed my sort number for my account when I said I will contact my bank myself they hung up.
Fraud. Automated call pretending to be from HMRC. Hang up immediately. This is from a Scammer and Fraudster! Scam recording threatens imminent legal action...HMRC would not do this via a phone call msg, automated or otherwise! Report these types of calls by texting the number of the fraudster to 7726 please. SCAM !!!!!

Received a call from this number, answered and received an automated message saying my Amazon account had 2 large orders using my card and they didn’t think it was me. It said press 1 for yes it was me and 2 for it wasn’t. I hung up an obvious scam call as how can they know who in the household picks up the call as there might be 5 of us with cards and Amazon accounts!
Only rang twice and then hung up. I was expecting a different call and called back. It was an automated message saying this will be a premium charge call so I hung up. Fishy!

Caled at 16:15. An English accented woman launched into "I'm from the Community Energy Review, & want to tell you I am not selling anything..." This is my house telephone number in Oswestry Shropshire. A 90 year old lady in some distress phoned me on this number today to ask why I had been contacting her. She told me she lives in Eastbourne and had been contacted from a number purporting to be from this one asking for finacial information. I explained I had not phoned her but it was probably a phishing scam and suggested she blocked it. I feel I needed to report this scam and this number on her behalf. Scum does not adequately label these people.
