This number (01613028217) called me just after six o’clock apparently telling me that there was nobody available to answer my call ( which I have never made), but giving me another number which would be able to deal with my ( non-existing) enquiry. The new number supplied (01618148666 ) doesn’t have many posts on this site yet so I presume that its one that’s newly in use. SCAM Received a text alert claiming to be from HALIFAX “A new payee has been linked in your app. If this WAS you, ignore this message, if NOT, cancel at Halifax: cancel-payelink.com. Firstly I don’t have an account with Halifax. Secondly, there is a payerlink but no payelink i.e. with the missing “r”.
This is an accident management service chasing potential business for accidents you may have been involved with. Its an unsolicited nuisance call as far as I am concerned.

Really rude man called telling me my hot point washing machine warranty has expired and I need to renew to which I said no thank you if it needs fixing my husband can do, really rude at this point stating that hot point engineers can t even fix a washing machine, so ok I shall buy a new one to which they hung up
