Call center SPAM Said his name was Alex, however he had a very strong Indian accent. He said that he was phoning from British Gas!? It was about boiler cover, house hold cover for both gas and electric. Asked a couple of questions. He said that he was calling from London, when I asked him what the weather was like in India, and it would be set up today! This number is used by a scammer. DO NOT REPLY OR CONTACT THIS NUMBER. Calls allegedly about payments to Amazon and overseas transaction payment. 'As you haven't used these services before' etc etc. DO NOT PRESS 1. JUST PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN. Second time in a week I've had a call from this number.

SCAM trying to get information on peoples details. I think it's an IP number to try and look like its not coming from an Indian scam centre

This number came up as a furniture retailers but was not they asked about my phone network and was very rude when I said I had an Samsung s23 ultra I beleve it to be a scam callers and to avoid at all costs

Had a call from this number saying they were the fraud department of Barclays but this is not true.

Caller said he was from Openreach and my router had reported problems regarding internet speed. I pointed out that Openreach only supply and maintain local connection to the exchange not any service’s. Call was then cleared

Recorded message supposedly Amazon saying I’d ordered £399 worth of goods. Obviously I haven’t. Another scam caller. I now have 49 scam callers blocked on my landline and mobile.

This is a scam. They have listed several properties in Europe that are fake on Airbnb and make you pay via a fake Bookings.com website.

Automated call claiming to be from a bank fraud department with suspicious activity on a card for transactions of hundreds of pounds. No bank name was mentioned and it asked to either authorise payments or choose to speak to someone. When no choice was pressed immediately the call was ended.

Some one called on my partner's mobile phone - a number that she shares very rarely if not at all. Toby, the caller, announced that my partner had won the lottery, to which she responded, "Oh, really? Do you want my banking details?" At which point 'Toby' hung up. It is interesting to note that we are currently job-hunting and one of the people that responded to that, on my partner's email, goes by the same name, representing am employment agency. Automated voice telling me my N I number has been used and to press 1 - which I didnt do. I think it's a scam.

Spoke to there main contractor this morning very informative lots of points of question.

Some thing wrong person used by this phone number

Indian accent claiming to be EE running a promotion. He ask for some pretty personal information. Name, address etc things EE should already have on file. Did not know the branch he was working from and was pretty adamant to get card info to enroll for the so called promotion but I had already picked up that it was a scam so no information was provided.

Another irritating little call hoping to either try to sell some non existent tat or con me into giving them money. Sad little suites. Perhaps the legal justice system could pop to Draycott Terrace in London and nick the sad little twats. Digital pickpockets?

Automated call SCAM Fraud

This telephone number rang my mum who hasn't got a clue about online banking or the internet. A bloke called James Taylor claimed he was from Action fraud. He informed my mum that she had activity on her bank account that wasn't showing up, and he then persuaded her to transfer a huge amount of money to there account, saying she will get it back after investigation of a few days. Which would be to late. Please stay clear of this number and block them.

Automated call Purporting to be Barclays Bank reporting unusual spending on my account. Securely checked my account which has no such transactions.

Automated voice Said transactions had been made from my bank account and to press 1 to authorise or 2 to speak to an advisor. Did neither I phoned my bank and no such transactions has been placed

stated was a legal copany wanting to deal with personal injury claim. Hadd loads of details about accident. Told caller that already in hands of solicitors and broke off conversation. Wonder where they get the information from?
