Missed call
SCAM - Tried to convince me that they were calling on behalf of a government debt consolidation scheme. When I said I wanted to check the validity of the company, they tried to convince me that they were genuine. I pointed out to them that any genuine company would be fine for their customers to do due diligence and that the fact they were trying to stop me doing that just screamed scam. They hung up on me.
**SCAM** Same as last review - called from 'Vodafone' & said someone had changed my phone number. Recieved text with code during the call. I asked him to call me back in 30 mins, he said "why, are you busy"? He couldn't verify he was from Vodafone and said they'd send an email (not recieved an hour later..). Checked my Vodafone account and no activity. TBH I'm used to being ripped off by Vodafone but at least I can see it happening :)
Clearly fraudsters trying to get money on basis of '' your bank / credit card has been used for a non authorised payment of £1100'' and encouragement to press option 1 to resolve the issue.
Potential robocall, answered and caller immediately hung up without a word. Suspicious as you might get put on an active caller list for future scammers, I'd avoid if possible!
this is from Northern Ireland, but when I call back it will not dial out it just cuts off
Spam phone contract call. Ignore. They told me my phone was coming to the end of its contract and that my bill would go up 17% so they needed to look at saving me money with a new contract. This was all false information.
Don't recognise the number so didn't answer. No message left.

Probable marketing call from TRINITY Insurance following online search for quotes. Have now called eight times but no message left.
Be suspicious of call’s originating from Vietnam, splitting the word doesn’t make this any less suspicious.

This is a catfish number .they say they are a soldier in the British army who need help with their business at home.. they send pictures of them in uniform..

I rang back and they all have had an answering machine with the same female voice putting me in a queue and at no point saying who they are. The owner of this number is a dope and a fraud. He has a search warrant in his home country, Bulgaria, for 7 years now, and he's been hiding in UK ever since.
