Claimed they were talktalk & my broadband was slow & they would fix it by giving me thi gs to type into my pc then log in to my bank account to get ref number which they said would give me a compensation refund of £404. Told them I'm not going to log on while he was on the phone with me & controlling my pc. He didn't sound too happy when I said I'm not going to log in to my account he insisted it was to claim my money, I said no & he said goodbye & hung up.

A gentleman with an Indian accent called he was from the Telephone Preference Service asking if I was still receiving nuisance calls. Went on to ask me to confirm the expiry date on my card, "the one that the direct debit for my phone bill is paid from". Knew by this stage that it was a scam to get bank details so told him I was not prepared to give any details over the phone and hung up. Within minutes of ending the call, the number called back but I did not answer.
Got a text at 5:25am saying: "Congratulation! Your mobile No. was selected as a winner of £2000,000.00 on EURO-MEGA DRAW with Draw no.EU-090687, Email us: [email protected] for claim" Obviously a scam. They did many errors, failed to say congratulations. Wasn't even close to saying £2,000,000 correctly. The drawn number they talk about is not even close to my actual number and they say email a gmail account? If they have s gmail account this is 100% a scam they'd have some kind of business email not a
