Scammer - picks a common name (like Julie) and if you know one (as I do) they pretend Julie has a new number and tell you to delete the old number. Then they ask you to send the details i.e. names and numbers of everyone you both know - so they can be scammed (and they will as the scammers will then have names. I sent them details of Mickey Mouse, Donald Trump and the Queen. DO NOT GIVE YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS NUMBERS OUT

Sarcastic and rude male just kept repeating he wanted to give me a quote for car warrenty on my car (mentioned make and model along with car reg!) Wouldn t remove my number when asked. This number calls daily, when I block it the final digit changes,descending order. Also leaves an automated voice message which is impossible to understand apart from the words “nothing to worry about, we will call you again”
When I refused to tell the man if I was a home owner or a tenant, he asked me to stop wasting his time and tell me if I was F...ING interested. He then called me an F...ING W..RE and said that he would make sure I had 10 nuisance calls to replace this one I should have answered.
