The message advises that HMRC wish to speak with you and it may be in your interest to appoint a Solicitor. Then asks that you call back. I called back and an Asian male answered with "This is Her Majesties Revenue Control, how can I help you" I hung up. I have had a couple of calls from this number today, it comes up as "Shaz Hulland" but I think that s because I use True Caller... Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 14138002xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with telemarketing calls - Scottish Power, debts and loans... Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?
Every time i purchase a domain - i get these calls! I refuse to pay for opt out as it shouldn't be required!!! So.... i bought a whistle - a very loud high pitched one - i let them speak, then i blow it down the phone. Seems to work ;)
