hello all same thing happend to me but i got though to the number in question. they claim it was all some computer error relating to tiny comuter accounts. all very convenient how many people will not have notests. i have been told that they have been trying to contact afected coutomers but when i ask why i was not contacted they did not have an awnser and had my name and adresse. total scam that shows your money is not safe in the bank

Rang back and spoke to Dawn. Wouldn t give me any details about the company "due to data protection" but if I provided her with my address, postcode and DOB she could tell me! I hung up in the end because I couldnt stop laughing at her :)
Filled in a form on line for number of nuisance calls I received they replied said they would ring and number would begin 02921 so I new I could answer it. They advised me I was on numerous cold call lists I new this ad I get dozens of calls per day. Asked foir a fee of ?49.99 to remove me from all of these lists. I do hope I have not been conned ad I m a pensioner and cannot afford to be loosing this sort of money.

Automated call to say that there had been fraudulent activity on our bank account. Then gave 2 amounts. £250 and £1000. (or so).from Amazon. We have had 3 similar calls in the last 3 days. All from different numbers. No money has gone from our account and no bank name was given and therefore I presume that it was a scam.

SCAM - very unpleasant call. Recorded message on voicemail (electronic voice) said if I didnt answer I would be arrested immediately. So far no arrest, so looks like I havent woken up in a dystopian nightmare where the police issues threatening electronic messages for 'criminals' afterall. Could be very frightening for some.

Definitely a scam. BT, Openreach, TalkTalk, Virgin etc., will never call you about a technical issue unless you contact them.

Very fishy number. They called me but the person on the phone was a recorded message telling me to call them back. It also said if I disregarded the message I could face legal consequences. Surely, if it was that serious, a real person would be talking to me and not some recorded message. Based on the other review of that number, I won’t be called back.

Came us as Suspected SPAM on my phone. Ended Call.

It sounded like an automated response, and probably just the start of a voice mail message, but they said they are: Home Shield Direct I have never heard of this company before; they might be trying to cold call me for a sale. I am not interested; I seek out what I want. This is a harassment call.
