Have been calling me for 3 years chasing somebody else s debt (I do know the person did have my phone number previously as I had a call from her father once). I have gave in and contacted them once and they were very aggressive but promised I would not get any more calls but after a break of a few months they started again. I have just blocked it and delete their voice mails.

Caller saying he was with Discover Broadband addressed me as "Mr Forename" and stated I was with a TalkTalk service that they wanted to price-check. The very loud background noise was unusual for any half-decent call centre. Especially considering the big TalkTalk data spill this week, I didn t fancy giving or confirming any details! I asked to be removed from the call list and I hung up.

Called and said my name and i said it was me then she said "The reason i am calling is..." and hung up. Could have recorded my voice

Paid number They rang me and I just had time to say "Not interested" and put the phone down. Then my bill comes in showing a 13 second call and charges for 16 pence +VAT. That is over 1 pence per second.
