For free fuel vouchers and a money saving magazine all i had to do was pay postage. No such magazine and from the comments it sounds like money goes missing from accounts if you provide them with your bank details. Didn t give them anything. They called a second time. No pick up.
Someone in Hong Kong, China used this phone number as job reference check purpose. This person tried to deceive the company for salary with his Fake CV, experiences and reference letter.

SCAM A female agent called me with Mobile Phone = 07428693956 at 12:22 pm identifying themselves as BT Customer Services and Security. They said their engineer was working on the line and detected an extra IP address registered at my location. Now BT customer services never ring outbound on a mobile, plus IP addresses are allotted by the router and not by the user. This is a scam and dangerous number if they ring you just take details, report it as fraud and scam, then hang up! ###SCAM###SCAM#FRAUD#FRA

Called them back withholding my number and asked where they got the list of phone numbers. The girl with an American accent said they would have to get their research department...

Fraud - Purports to be from Amazon com concerning suspicious activity / order on your account (number is most likely spoofed). Gets through to a call centre of some sort, lots of other operators heard in the background (heavily accented Indian sub continent). Says there has been a suspicious order on your account, order an iPhone 11. Given a code to be able to cancel the order, but then goes on to get you to try and run an "Anydesk" program on your PC so they can take control of your PC.
