Commenting on behalf of my mother in law. They called telling her that her washing machine warranty was expiring (a lie)and was duped. When I called to complain they were confrontational and when she called back to cancel they would not put her through the correct department. Unprofessional sharks - avoid.

Called me in Portugal saying I had shown interest in their Swiss finance company. I asked where they got my number they said I had given it to them. I said I had not and they got cross with me saying where did they get the number from then?
One of over 30 calls I have received from various numbers. Seems to be something to do with information that has been trawled from the Motor Insurers database MIB ?

apparently from my bank re 2 fraud transactions on my account. never say which bank. i was supposed to click 1 or 2 depending on my answer, but walked away and left phone as I knew it was a scam. my banks never use a mobile number and would contact me via their apps or a landline which I recognise

When I went to answer this call I got a message telling me that all operators were busy and if I would like to call them their n umber was. No way I going to call them, if they want me they can phone again.
Called today without leaving a mesage. Ignored it and tried to google number but nothing came up. Phoned the number back and just long peeps on the line.
Same experience as those above; clearly a scammer (pretty crude effort as well!!)

TAXES / HMRC SCAM automated message , tax fraud . says press one to speak to HMRC officer, as you have a fraud under your name by the HMRC. if you do not press you will be shortly arrested. don't press, hang up. I in doubt,hang up.
