We wanted a quote for a sliding door for our back porch and the salesman quoted over 6k and then he dropped the price to 2 times! They try to pressure you and that if you dont sign today you wont find a better deal! Salesman ask what your job occupation is which has nothing to do with your quote and are fishing for how much money they can squeeze out of you. I keep getting calls even though i have told them multiple times i am not interested.

i live in the area where the call number originates from but its not from here its usually someone from liverpool or up north with crap about car accident etc etc, tried calling it back but puts you on hold with music playing and american voice every now and again saying your call is important please hand on if only people could find a real job rather than harrassing people on a daily basis

A firm called Office Essential rang and asked if we do start ups for business's.

Wants to speak with the owner of the business about "finances" but refuses to say who they are with and what they need to discuss with the business owner, but they are a referral from "someone" who said they want to invest. When asked who referred they said it was confidential. I informed them that if they could not tell me any more about the nature of their call, they will not be getting past me to waste my MD s time and I put the phone down on her.

claiming to know I had an accident and am owed money. Nasty way to try and get business. Accidents are stressful enough and it s bad to make this stuff up.

they called me on my mobile - which I never give out - so am so very curious there... and it looks like other sites too are confirming they are ringing re PPI. I did not answer it. maybe some day when I am bored (and on good form for an arguement) I will answer... and let you all know how it went.
