I was unable to answer the call from this number because my screen was playing up. It did not light up in any way so I couldn't see how to answer or anything. A few minutes later I needed to make a call so I spent some time getting the screen to light up in order to dial out. Surprisingly this number was still calling me. When I responded that I did not know the person asked for, the caller wanted me to give my name, address, date of birth, marriage status so that he could "verify that I was not the person he was demanding to speak to". Received a text saying my parcel has been dropped of at the collection centre. I have not bought any items, and I'm not expecting any parcels from friends or acquaintants.
Numbers 01182-302112 -308128 & -308140 are loft insulation scams. Phone rings and caller, a computer, hangs up if it doesn't hear a voice! If you answer "hello" or anything else, your line is then logged as a 'VOICE LINE' and you'll be called back sometime later by a con-artist! Whenever you don't recognize a number, DON'T SPEAK! JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear anyone and the line goes dead, then you've just successfully escaped being scammed! Well done :-)

They say the name of the company is blockchain database but that it doesn't have a website. When I said all of this sounded very suspicious (and they even asked me why) the reply I got was 'Damn!" and they hang up.

A cold call. Caller said that I had a problem with my internet for 3 weeks and his engineers were fixing the problem. Caller did not use my name or the name of my internet provider. Caller did not answer any of my questions but carried on reading from his script. I am sure that this was some sort of SCAM attempt. As usual I did not give the caller any information that would identify me or any account that I may have.
