Had a call from this number at 8.30am this morning. I didn t answer because I never answer calls from any number that is not stored on my phone (if it is important and/or the person knows me they will leave a voicemail). Have just received a second call from this number at 9.15am! I let it bounce to voicemail again before withholding my number and calling the number. Over the last 2 days I ve received over 30 phone calls from them, some abusive (Ive been called a abusive names), some silent. I ve asked them to stop calling but they seem to find it funny. I ve reported it to my local police, OFCOM & my service provider. Please report any calls from them to OFCOM, the more reports they get the better the case against them. Hal s reply is spot on. If someone sends a text message to your landline and you don t pick up the phone it gets stored for you to retrieve later. This 0795 number is where you collect the message, plus the number of the mobile phone that sent the text. It s not dangerous. All depends on what the text message says, of course - that could be anything. In my case it was someone texting to say Sorry I Missed Your Call. See? Not dangerous.

Who said they got my details from the car traffic accident department. I question why they would send them any information. I also stated I have not given any permission to anyone to use my personal data or pass it on.
