Automated call that says money will be taken from your account in the near future. It says they are from Amazon, but I've contacted Amazon and they say it has nothing to do with them. In my case they said they would be taking £79 something. This is the second time this number has called me.

Ring for a long time before hanging up. Didn’t leave a message. I never answer any call from an unidentified number. If they’re genuine they can leave a message and I’ll call back.

SCAM - Automated voice said they were from a government agency and that my National Insurance number had been mixed up in some illegal incidents. It then said something about having to get back to them quickly. At this point I hung up obviously a scam.

I found in my letter box a brochure advertising for "Free totally unlimited broadband" from TalkTalk! Automated call to say that there had been fraudulent activity on our bank account. Then gave 2 amounts. £250 and £1000. (or so).from Amazon. We have had 3 similar calls in the last 3 days. All from different numbers. No money has gone from our account and no bank name was given and therefore I presume that it was a scam.

Indian man called. He asked for my wife by name. I asked who was calling. He said ICICI Bank. I then asked why he was calling and what it was about. He said an account was coming to an end and did she want to renew and discuss details. - Knew it must be a scam so said no and hung up.
