Pause of few seconds. High pitched noise, then computerised voice said "goodbye". Caller then hung up.
The caller said he was with BT and that my internet connection was going to be closed down for a month. I told him I didn't believe a word he said and ended the call

this number phoned straight after i received an automated message about a boiler, i wonder if they are from the same company as this number connected me to a person, i hung up, boiler number 03331559744, very strange 2 calls together
These people are scammers who target elderly vulnerable people. They cold called my mother who has dementia, despite her being registered with the TPS. They talked her into completely unnecessary cover for a washing machine for £225 pounds. This seems to be their MO as I have now seen it on numerous forums about them. This is now in the hands of her banks fraud team.
