Took ages for them to answer once I d answered the call then on a very bad line asked if I was Miss (First name) (Middle name). I m not a Miss and presumably they know I might not have the same surname they have for me anymore. I m always sceptical of people using my first and middle name so hung up but it didn t sound like his English was very good.

SCAM / SPAM Indian (nothing against Indian people) sound guy. First started off with asking for confirmation of my name. Then he said he was from Microsoft Technical Department and then I lost it. I did not curse just told him to go and get a proper job and stop scamming people and some other statements. Exactly the same as other comments. Allegedly I had an issue which needed discussion and a visit from a Talktalk engineer. I had no issue with TalkTalk, nor had I reported any problems at all. Upon reading your previous comments I have decided to ignore the email. Apparently an engineer did call on me today and as I was out he (she?) called on my neighbour who alerted me to this. On reflection, I think giving a caller your address is perhaps unwise. Better to get their details first and tell them you will call back after checking them out.
Got another audio text message to my landline Another appointment reminder I thought I gave these people my mobile number as the contact but obviously not Will do when I see them next week I used to get a lot of these audio text messages to my landline at one time from this and a couple of other text to speech to landline translation and relay service numbers but am now only giving my mobile number as the contact when I can remember it As usual with these audio text services always ignore the instruction

By researching online, could be a debt collection/management company, now they using mobile numbers to call and annoy people, if you have the last smartphone then you can still block them.
