Back again, they phoned my mobile yesterday and today my landline. Local garage had my contact numbers 2 years ago when I bought a car. In the past has just been postal advertising. The number is in Runcorn so misrepresentation of fact! Answered the phone with what are you selling, told them not to phone again as I don t want to buy a car. Must be a call centre in Runcorn, annoyed that local garage has sold or is using contact details for reasons beyond the original sale!!!

Called me today. I ignored because I suspected a scam. Having now read previous comments, I will block the number.

Ditto with the one off text donation - wish I d never donated. If I wanted to set up a direct debit I would, on principle that they must have spent 10x my donation amount on calling me I wouldn t donate again anyway!

Received a call offering a free tablet, declined as I did not believe they were calling from Vodafone themselves, and hung up. Then received a seemingly automated text message from Vodafone advising the call was genuine, but the grammar in the text was poor - "infact", "you wasn t sure", "removed you from our list of customer" - so I can t be sure if it is genuine. Surely a big company like that would check something so simple?

someone from this number called me a few minutes ago, and asked to speak to Mr J *****. I asked who was calling, he said "Matthew" I asked "what do you want him for", he replied that "its personal" (AT NO POINT DID I CONFIRM OR DENY MY I.D.. Silent call. Been getting a lot lately from unknown numbers and I usually let them go through to answerphone because they are from telesales/debt management unsolicited callers. Decided to answer this one, but I didn t speak, and the other end was complete silence. Probably just another machine doing their sleazy telesales calls for them so they don t have to even bother using a human. Another one to add to the blacklist.

Scam from a company that will ask to get money from you through a voucher (3V prepaid voucher) because they say:"You have been accepted for a personal loan". By any cost, do not believe them, trust me, I have been there. They just take your money, and that s it, you have to pay more and more charges after that. So DO NOT FALL FOR THIS BULLSHIT.

I was called and told that I am due for a refund from previous credit. I just said that I'm not interested and put the phone down.

On a mobile telephone I use only for emergencies I received a text message suggesting I apply for flight delay compensation. I get many unwanted calls. This was another uninvited intrusion.
