Poor line quality, strong foreign accent. Claimed to be from SKY and had detected "slow internet" on my connection which they could fix at no cost. When I replied that I didn't have any problems, immediately hung up.
No idea who this is. They hung up after I answered!

everytime I ask them to give me the company name they hang up, number shows as a London area code but when you call back it s dead? using IP phones with local area codes for the UK, going by their accents I would say most probably coming from India. Do NOT tell them anything about yourself, as they ll only sell it on to another dodgy bunch who will keep up the harassment.

SCAM Called asking could I confirm if I had been involved in an accident (I hadn't). I asked not to call my number again, which resulted in further calls which I didn't answer. My number was illegally acquired from an ad which I had placed on the Gumtree website, so beware where you post your phone numbers to!

Recorded femail voice says that there has been some illegal activity on my internet - and I will be cut of..... etc. so press 1 to speak to advisor. IGNORE. New twist. If you just wait (that is don't press anything) an Amarican male voice comes on 'Thank you for your response (which has been nothing just to waste their time) ... you are now being transferred....' at this point I hung-up. The numbers are spoofed (not UK town Northwich).
