Just hung up as soon as I answered
Fraud When I answered this call there was an automated message seemingly from the DWP stating that my National Insurance number was going to be stopped because of fraud. The message asked me to press 1 to speak to an operator. I was then transferred to an open line where I could hear a lot of background noise, like a call centre, nobody said anything and then the line went dead. I then called the number back and a business selling plastic answered. Why people do this is a disgrace.
Called today rang once then stopped. I did a search, call came from Zimbabwe. Obvious SCAM CALL. Blocked right away. Hope this helps.
SCAM / SPAM recorded message saying that I are being investigated for tax fraud and a warrant has been issued. Then it hangs up. ????
