This number has been making numerous calls today before 8am. It alternates with a private caller saying they are from Virginmedia. I have checked with the company who have no record of any calls being made to me. Annoying maybe dangerous.

Automat scam call about tax fraud
SCAM: The number 08000478737 is on a letter supposedly from Trading Standards saying a wine investment company I have shares with has gone bust. The letter comes with an Insolvency Service form to complete regarding my shares, and that i must complete it in order to get full value of my shares returned. I must telephone the number to give the answers. Except, the wine company hasn't gone bust & Trading Standards don't send out these kind of letters.

I have blacklisted the number due to my severe & enduring mental health condition as 5he only reason for doing this so frequently with no callback is to upset people. I am aware that I have incurred arrears but I have time to pay via the dates on my 9nline account. The caller should be prosecuted both civilly & criminally under the Telecommunications Act!
