Phoned twice because my computer had been "hacked". I told the woman that I didn't want to speak to her and put the phone down. She then rang back and told me rudely to listen to what she had to say. Once again I hung up.
The caller said that they were from the National Grid and needed to change my meter. Apparently it is malfunctioning. This is a prelude to trying to get my bank details I thin; I didn't hold on for long enough to find out.

SCAM . Text message about stressed out daughter / son who has dropped their phone down the toilet and want a text message sent back on a different number to the originators.
SCAM Unusually, this was actually an English person on the other end of the phone rather than a call centre setting from India etc! The number rang my works mobile at 10:05 09/05/2023. The person on the other end spoke very well and professional, saying that they were calling from HSBC, and were making me aware of activity in my account that looked suspicious, that money was being taken out by an advertising firm. The moment I said that we bank with NATWEST not HSBC, he put the phone down straight
Scam pretending to be Vodafone offering upgrade for bank details
Fed up of calls from this number and similar Daventry numbers, rings 3 to 4 times , no one there. Presume its automated phishing call. Blocked now
Sales call – the caller was selling services of an accounting company. Blocked.
It's a courtesy call from Independent Assessment Services for PIP. They were friendly and helpful.
Purported to be Tesco mobile. Never had one

claims to be from some HR company mumbled refused to say what it was they actually wanted. We are a small charity and the person dealing with HR not in & I explained I wasn't willing to pass details on unless they told me what their company actually wanted/did still just mumbled his own name & insisted he'd ring back. Call centre noise in background.
Silent call
Number not known to me & appears to come from a remote part of Lancashire, of which I have absolutely no connections. in the last 7 days I have received halve a dozen numbered calls from a 078 prefix.
