Called without permission - missed call, no message left.
Caller said she was from Telephone Preference Society - checked our name and address. Did we pay telephone bill by Direct Debit? Asked again. Asked then if it is correct that your credit card expires in 2017? Then asked if cheque book was handy - very persistent. Eventually she put 'phone down, having got no extra information. Gave my wife some amusement as I was out all evening and I have the credit card and cheque book securely locked away! Sad that someone has to earn money like this.
