I knew it was a dodgy call centre so I answered the phone and left it on the side and walked off left them to talk they gave up in the end.

National Insurance number 'compromised' scam
(Sorry - chose the wrong rating on first submission) Two calls today from this number, both using the same script on home security. Asked for me by name on a business line which is CPR listed so legally should not receive any unsolicited sales or marketing calls. They introduced themselves as "Crime Prevention Officers" looking into recent spate of burglaries in area and gave the impression they were connected to the police if not actually officers. British gas boiler insurance. Illegal unsolicited calling a TPS registered number. I hope they get fined the maximum penalty. Around ?500,000 according to recent OFCOM prosecutions. OFCOM is as Tellows users know britains very own sleeping gamekeeper. Who wishes to find a new home on the poacher side of the fence.
