UK number phoning Ireland. Picked up but no one there. Phoned back, rang twice, then started saying the time according to Avia.... etc automated message. Number is Nottingham UK.
Telemarketing: white goods warranty
Male caller purporting to be from the technical department at Microsoft. Informed me my computer had been attacked by hackers and he needed me to check error codes. I told him I had a mac, so he quickly changed his story to say that Microsoft, Linux and Apple computers were at risk and the hackers had used a microsoft computer. Told me all the usual rubbish about knowing my software licence number but I only kept him talking in order to waste his time.

text message received "Sorry for taking such a long time to prepare it ready for you" and then a random link. not clicking anything. Glad I didn't judging by stats on this page.
