Telemarketers, usual nonsense, I suggest you just cut the call if answered by mistake, block them on the mobile or landline handset if you are able, if you do talk to them then of course ask for your details to be removed etc... Do not behave like the quarter wit above, screaming and shouting at them, it just makes you look like a complete and utter fool and an idiot and in truth there is no reason to behave in such a way, it acheives nothing in terms of getting you out of their database. everytime I ask them to give me the company name they hang up, number shows as a London area code but when you call back it s dead? using IP phones with local area codes for the UK, going by their accents I would say most probably coming from India. Do NOT tell them anything about yourself, as they ll only sell it on to another dodgy bunch who will keep up the harassment.

Third call today this one plus 2 others with beginning 016068..... Recorded femail voice says that there has been some illegal activity on my internet - and I will be cut of..... etc. so press 1 to speak to advisor. IGNORE. New twist. If you just wait (that is don't press anything) an Amarican male voice comes on 'Thank you for your response (which has been nothing just to waste their time) ... you are now being transferred....' at this point I hung-up. The numbers are spoofed (not UK town Northwich).

Truecaller dot com shows 447 members have reported as spam. So far 440 calls have been sent to voicemail and not a single message has been left. Suspect these calls originate from a request for life insurance quotation. Google search and another directory site would seem to support that assumption.
