This gentleman rang up and asked me if I had suffered any hearing loss or damage due to working in a noisy environment . I replied that fortunately I hadn t and said my goodbyes.
This number just called my landline, the lady claimed that she was from Sky and that it had been reported time that my sky broadband was not performing at the correct speed. She did not confirm any of my customer details. Then she asked me what devices were connected to the broadband and instructed me to go to the p.c, so tat I could adjust the broadband settings. The called did not know where I was from so admitted they are in Bangalore before I pointed out they were using a virtual London number. On a mobile telephone I use only for emergencies I received a text message suggesting I apply for flight delay compensation. I get many unwanted calls. This was another uninvited intrusion. I have not flown! They must have randomly picked my number. It was bad manners, another impertinence of the type that needs to be stopped.
