SCAM Claims via text that a payment was requested from a bank I have nothing to do with.
Called this morning
They wanted to come to the house to give a valuation - now that is scary. Must be getting details off Rightmove.
Automated call asking if I d been in a car accident
Aggressive cowboy builders who take advantage of the poor and needy.
A lady called me saying she was from Google security. She knew my name and address which was worrying. I told her she must have the wrong number. When asked, she said she was calling from London but it turns out the area code is Welshpool. She had a strong Indian accent.
I don't answer numbers that are not recognised. It only rang for about 5 seconds then hung up
I answered the phone and all the man said was "you will not survive" then disconnected
Warning this is a SCAM! ... Targeting the silver army (retired people). They gained my parents trust by solving a small computer issue, using Ultraviewer which gives control access to the other person. They were told to call in 3 months for a check up. This she did. This time my parents were shown that their computer had multiple virus attacks and was vulnerable. He said he would resolve with Palo Alto software. He remoyed in again. He charged £1200 and did nothing.

Fraud Call supposedly from AMAZON stating that £74.99 was being taken from my bank to pay my annual subscription to PRIME. I do not have an account. Getting calls from many different numbers all saying the same thing. All numbers being blocked. Many elderly people might be scared into giving their details to these SCAMMERS. They must be investigated by the authorities.
