My Mum got scammed with a company called World IT pro saying they worked with Microsoft. They actually remote installed remote tracking software so they could see all her computer activity and charged her £300 for 'five years protection' - I called and complained and said I thought it was a scam and they refunded it (or it looks like they have - the money hasn't come back into the bank yet). They refunded my mum on the basis of what I said - did not get her authority to talk to me - SCAM

Definitely ScottishPower. I didn t answer but I called the number back and got through to an automated message saying "You have been called today on behalf of ScottishPower.........." Probably because I too am switching suppliers. If only they had been so quick to call when I had a problem with my meter!!!

asked who was calling, no reply
Was from an Indian Call Centre (you could tell from the background noise) asking about a car accident I had during the last 2 years (I have not had one) so I challenged him as to where he got my number from he hung up.
