SCAM from supposedly tax office
Called today, asked me to confirm my name then rang off.
Another annoying call from Chesterfield line. White noise kicked in when the answerphone connected.
This is Judge Philip Mathews of Isleworth crown court, a very easily misguided man!
I received a recorded message from this number, a robotic voice informed me that there were unusual transactions on my bank card and two amounts were mentioned. Then I was asked to press 1 to check the details of the purchase, I did not press any response button, but deleted the message and checked on this facility. It seems to be a scam trying to make contact with my account.

This company have phoned me every so often for years. They always ask for Joanne, that’s not my name, I have repeatedly asked them to take me off the database and yet yesterday and today I received a call from them. They are a nuisance.

Fraud - Fake "debt collecter" type call. Asking to speak to financial department about an overdue debt that is owed (completely false allegation) but had no names or contact details. SCAM Phone sim swop scam designed to by pass the 2 step verification system and gain access to passwords, banking etc. Looks like a Birmingham company actually based in Karachi. Bit of digging on Linkedin etc confirm this and that is it a cover for many businesses including call centres. Tells you all you need to know.
They are saying i have bitcoin they want to send me. All i have to do is to install anydesk, and they will help me, to retrieve it. They have been calling 6 six times this month alone. Each time i say no.

We received a call from 0141 555 4854 with a recorded message telling us of unauthorised transactions on our card? One was £300 for Amazon and then £1, something (I lost the will at this time). I could press 1 to cancel or 2 to speak to the team. I have hung up ad blocked the number.but I know they can change the number to show anything they like. Why or why are the authorities not doing more to catch these scumbags.
