SCAM / SPAM Answered, I got an automated message saying they were from HMRC and there was a tax fraud case against me and then said I had to press a number to talk to a representative. I hung up and blocked the number.

ALLEGEDALLY from an Internet internet provider suggesting that there had been some illegal activity from my internet. At this point I put the phone down. It is obviously a SCAM. I will be blocking this number.
Passed themselves off as "Telephone Preference Management" saying we were registered customers, obviously conflating with yer actual TPS, on whose register we are already. Ironically, they were trying to sell a ?40 call blocking unit from their website (see company name above)...unsuccessfully as the heavily-accented Indian chap tried to make out he was "Mark Jordan" calling from Berkshire - hey ho...
