This number has phoned me at the same everyday for over a week...

asking for a name of someone made up. Then said who pays for the gas and electric in the house. ? Sounded like a child or very young woman. Never said who they were or what company. Very childish.

At the end of the end ,whether you are a British Gas customer or not , if you have not given British Gas your permission to call you , then it is a harrassment call. The other thing to bear in mind is , unless you make the call , how do you really know who it is who has called you? I am a British Gas customer , but as far as I am aware have never given them my telephone number , so beware !!

I answered and a English lady in what sounded like an office like background noise explained she was calling from the Advisory centre or service. She asked if I was someone by the name of Mrs.Wheeler, which I was not. I politely said no, and I don t know if I was meant to hear the next bit, as she may have thought she had hung up before she said it. Please press 5 to speak to us". Presumably yet another scam to try and get bank details or name and address
