Hung up just as I answered so I called them back. They are a hearing loss company trying to find people who have suffered loss of hearing from the work they do.
Calls from 01204311988 are from Goodwin Barrett. It’s their call centre. It uses a computer program to ring your number, and if you answer, and an agent is available to talk to you they will, but if not, some hear a ‘goodbye’ some a essage, and some hear nothing. So you can ring them back on their Freephone number, using 141 to make your telephone number appear to them as ‘anonymous’ and definitely at no cost to you. SCAM Sounds like a real person but clearly prerecorded as the message left on my phone was "accident, is that right?". Had this come through via various numbers previously.
This caller has called my mobile trying to make me put in a bogus personal accident claim. I have asked him to not call but he says he will call every day until I put in a claim.
Phone Jan 5th 2022 mid afternoon. Thought it was local garage new number but when i tried to call back strange bleep noise. (Was not the garage new number!)

PPI automated call. Will probably be followed fairly soon after with a call from a private number with some snotty nosed git who knows more about you than you d like. Don t engage them. If you do have a PPI claim print the form from the FSA website and send it yourself. Thats all these guys do anyway and they take 20% (or more) of whatever settlement you get.....
